Contracts Manager

About the role

The Contracts Manager will be based in Kuwait and will support LOGCAP operations. This role is responsible for interpreting contract sections of Requests for Proposals, managing contracts and amendments, and serving as the primary point of contact for contractual communications with customers and government agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret contract sections of RFPs, contracts and amendments.
• Administer and negotiate Non‑Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements and Associate Contractor Agreements.
• Act as the initial contact for contractual communications with customers, DCMA, DCAA and other government agencies, with authority to obligate the company.
• Manage routine proposals for contract add‑ons and support post‑award contract administration.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, legal requirements, FAR guidelines and customer specifications.
• Lead customer negotiations and recommend execution of contractual documents.
• Monitor contract performance, ensure terms and conditions are met, and initiate contract close‑outs.
• Develop responses to FOIA requests and CPARs.
• Coordinate with cost estimators and other departments for proposal preparation and management reviews.
• Maintain professional competence through contracts training and NCMA meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract management within government or defense contracting environments.
• Strong knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and related compliance standards.
• Ability to interpret complex contract language and resolve issues with ethical judgment.
• Experience interacting with government agencies such as DCMA and DCAA.
• Capability to negotiate and administer NDAs, teaming and associate contractor agreements.
• Familiarity with various contract types (CPAF, FFP, FPAF, T&M, LH).
