Instructional Assistant of Computer Engineering

About the role

The College of Engineering and Applied Sciences is looking for a full‑time Instructional Assistant to lead laboratory sessions in electric circuits, electronics, microprocessors, and embedded systems. This position supports student learning through hands‑on instruction and contributes to curriculum development.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory courses for the engineering program.
• Assist students during scheduled open‑lab hours.
• Compile and report assessment results, maintaining related records and samples.
• Participate in curriculum development, evaluation, and revision of course materials, equipment, and technology.
• Develop new instructional materials and techniques to meet student learning needs.
• Collaborate with lab technicians on maintenance and inventory checks.
• Facilitate installation and operation of new and existing laboratory equipment.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to teach college‑level engineering labs.
