On‑Site Support Engineer (Kuwait)

About the role

The company is looking for an On‑Site Support Engineer to provide comprehensive IT and infrastructure support across multiple locations in Kuwait. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows servers and client systems, as well as handling cabling and power‑related installations.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure Microsoft Windows Server and client operating systems.
• Deploy system images, manage updates, and execute release processes.
• Install and configure MS‑SQL databases and support custom applications, including troubleshooting and log collection.
• Provide hardware support for workstations, desktops, printers, and kiosk machines.
• Install, route, and terminate structured cabling (CAT5e, CAT6, CAT7, RS232, RS485) and perform cable testing.
• Carry out basic electrical measurements and install/terminate UPS systems.
• Conduct site surveys, coordinate installation teams, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and travel to sites as operational needs arise.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or a closely related technical role.
• Valid Kuwait residence permit and driving license with personal vehicle.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
• Willingness to travel across sites and work occasional after‑hours on‑call shifts.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows Server and client OS installation and configuration.
