Supply Planner

About the role

The Supply Planner works closely with internal and external teams to align demand forecasts with order replenishment, ensuring product availability while minimizing out‑of‑stock situations and excess inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and lead the demand forecast process, identifying gaps between forecast and company targets.
• Synchronise demand forecasts with order cycles, inventory levels, and replenishment plans.
• Validate SKU‑level sales forecasts through comparative analysis and prepare demand review packages.
• Collaborate with the MS&P team to incorporate updates from the Strategic Sales Plan.
• Submit confirmed orders to suppliers within defined deadlines after managerial approval.
• Monitor open orders, track item availability daily/weekly, and communicate risks with recommendations.
• Analyse out‑of‑stock impacts, develop corrective action plans, and drive continuous improvement in supply planning.
• Ensure accurate item creation in the ERP system, matching price structures.
• Initiate promotional item transfers according to the initiative roadmap.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate forecast accuracy and identify root causes.
• Proactive communication skills to inform stakeholders of risks and recommendations.
• Detail‑oriented approach to manage order confirmations, inventory tracking, and ERP data integrity.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems for item creation and price management.
