Broadcast & Media Technology Coordinator

About the role

The Broadcast & Media Technology Coordinator ensures seamless broadcast readiness for major multi‑sport events and large‑scale digital transformations in Kuwait. The role orchestrates technical workflows, stakeholder logistics, and vendor support to deliver reliable broadcast infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily deployment, scheduling, and maintenance of broadcast equipment, host media facilities, and Master Control Room (MCR) infrastructure.
• Serve as the central point for tracking technical dependencies between AV/broadcast setups, venue IT networks, and streaming systems.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, asset registries, and standard operating procedures for live event broadcasts.
• Assist in IP‑based broadcast setups, cloud production workflows, and digital asset management environments.
• Facilitate communications between local entities, international sports federations, and host broadcasting teams, managing media access and rights‑holder requests.
• Organise testing schedules, commissioning runs, and rehearsal milestones to transition systems into live operations.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors, monitor service level agreements, and coordinate hardware replacement during critical live windows.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience coordinating technical operations in broadcast, media production, or major sports events.
• Strong familiarity with live signal transmission paths (fiber, satellite, IP), non‑linear editing pipelines, and smart venue systems.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail for managing complex schedules under tight live deadlines.
• Exceptional cross‑cultural communication skills for interfacing with international delegates and local public‑sector stakeholders.
