Civil Engineer

About the role

Egis Group is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join its Kuwait team and contribute to the design, planning and delivery of infrastructure projects that support sustainable development in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop civil engineering solutions, including structural analysis, feasibility studies and technical specifications for infrastructure projects.
• Conduct site surveys, inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Kuwait.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, reports and documentation using CAD software and other industry‑standard tools.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and project managers to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
• Supervise construction activities, monitor quality assurance and verify that work meets relevant industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies and local building codes applicable in Kuwait.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD software and engineering design tools.
• Experience with structural analysis and design software.
• Familiarity with project management practices.
