Demi Chef De Partie – Pastry Kitchen

About the role

The Four Seasons hotel in Kuwait City is seeking a motivated Demi Chef De Partie to join its Pastry Kitchen. Working in a luxury five‑star environment, you will assist in creating a wide range of breads, pastries, cakes and desserts that meet the brand’s high standards of quality and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing and baking breads, pastries, cakes and desserts according to established recipes.
• Maintain consistent product quality, freshness and visual appeal for all bakery items.
• Support inventory management, stock rotation, ordering and cost control while minimizing waste.
• Uphold food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout the work area.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth daily operations and timely production.
• Contribute ideas for new menu items and seasonal specialties, staying current with industry trends.
• Assist in training and developing junior team members as needed.
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to meet operational requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience as a Demi Chef De Partie in a pastry kitchen of a luxury five‑star hotel.
• Strong knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP and COSHH regulations.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Passion for pastry and bakery production.
