About the role
As a Guest Event Expert you will help create memorable experiences for guests at Marriott events. You will be involved from set‑up through breakdown, ensuring every detail runs smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and break down event materials, décor and equipment.
- Transport supplies and assist with loading/unloading.
- Take guest orders, serve food and beverages, and interact with attendees.
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company policies.
- Handle objects up to 50 lb without assistance and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Less than one year of related experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment.
Required skills
- Physical stamina to stand, walk and lift up to 50 lb.
- Strong customer‑service orientation.
- Professional appearance and communication.
