Gastroenterology Consultant – Endoscopy Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Consultant/Specialist with strong expertise in endoscopy and gastrointestinal procedures to deliver high‑quality patient care and manage complex gastroenterological cases in Kuwait.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
• Develop treatment plans and provide ongoing patient follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate clinical records while ensuring patient safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Support and guide junior medical staff as needed.

Required profile

• Master’s or postgraduate qualification in gastroenterology or a related specialty.
• Several years of post‑graduation experience at consultant or specialist level.
• Specialized endoscopy training or a 6‑12 month endoscopy fellowship.
• Proven experience in gastroenterology and endoscopic procedures.
• GCI and GCA accreditation (mandatory).
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, communication, and decision‑making abilities.
