Graduate Trainee Z (Generation Z Programme)

About the role

Zain's Generation Z programme is a one-year career-accelerating graduate trainee programme, now in its 12th year. It is aimed at recent graduates with strong potential, a passion for technology and transformation, and the readiness to take on real challenges. Participants rotate across business units, shape real projects and work alongside senior leaders as Zain transforms from a Telco to a TechCo. The closing date is 21 November 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of live projects that address business priorities and create measurable organisational value.
• Rotate across business units and Zain operations, with opportunities for regional and international travel.
• Apply AI and intelligent automation to real business challenges, supporting adoption across teams.
• Understand how Zain creates value across eight markets and a growing digital portfolio.
• Learn directly from senior leaders, contribute to high-visibility projects and build a network of mentors.
• Apply accessibility and universal design principles to develop solutions for customers and employees of all abilities and backgrounds.
• Build wellbeing and resilience through immersive experiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher with a minimum GPA of 3.00 or equivalent; recent graduates from STEM and other disciplines.
• Passion for AI, automation, data, digital transformation and emerging technologies.
• Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Proactive, goal-oriented and collaborative, committed to continuous learning, inclusion and accessibility.
• Willingness to represent Zain professionally on social media and to travel internationally as required.
