Gym Manager

About the role

The Gym Manager leads the day‑to‑day operations of a fitness facility, ensuring a high‑quality member experience while meeting membership and revenue targets. This role blends operational oversight, sales drive, customer service excellence, and team leadership within the fitness industry.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily gym operations, opening/closing procedures, cleanliness, safety, and equipment maintenance.
• Conduct facility inspections, coordinate preventive maintenance, and address operational issues promptly.
• Drive membership sales, monitor leads, conversions, renewals, and cancellations to achieve revenue goals.
• Develop and execute initiatives for member acquisition, retention, and upselling of training packages and classes.
• Maintain strong member relationships, handle complaints, and implement engagement activities.
• Lead, schedule, recruit, train, and evaluate gym staff across fitness, reception, sales, and housekeeping functions.
• Prepare regular sales and performance reports and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Required profile
