Heavy Equipment Maintenance Planning & Cost Control Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Planning & Cost Control Officer to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for our fleet of construction machinery in Ahmadi, Kuwait. The role focuses on scheduling, tracking downtime, and managing maintenance budgets to maximise equipment availability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance plans and schedules.
• Track equipment maintenance activities, downtime, spare parts usage, and repair requirements.
• Monitor maintenance costs, budgets, and expenditures, providing regular cost analyses.
• Prepare maintenance reports, performance summaries, and cost performance dashboards.
• Coordinate with maintenance, operations, procurement teams and external suppliers.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment history, maintenance activities, and associated costs.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment availability and reduce maintenance expenses.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance planning and/or cost control.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with heavy machinery, construction equipment, or fleet maintenance is preferred.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with maintenance planning and reporting systems.
