About the role
We are looking for a reliable Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) driver to join our logistics team. You will be responsible for transporting merchandise and packages safely, while representing Alghanim Industries with professionalism.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain clean and well‑driven trucks to reflect the company’s image.
- Follow delivery schedules and route plans.
- Use company mobile phones strictly for business purposes.
- Ensure vehicles are serviced, fuelled and maintained according to schedule.
- Oversee proper loading and unloading of goods.
- Assist installers with delivery and assembly tasks.
- Drive safely to protect products, staff and the public.
- Know delivery areas in advance and confirm unknown destinations with a supervisor.
- Adhere to the strictest road‑safety procedures and local traffic laws.
- Handle goods carefully to avoid damage.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Full, clean Heavy Goods Vehicle driving licence.
- Minimum 2 years of HGV driving experience.
- Proficient written and spoken English.
