Licensed Practical Nurse – 3rd Floor Rehab

About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work on the 3rd Floor Rehab unit at Baptist Health, providing safe, therapeutic, and compassionate care to patients. The role operates under the direction of a Registered Nurse and follows the nursing process taught by the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with the nursing process.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the supervising RN.
• Administer medications and treatments as authorized.
• Document care activities accurately in patient records.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and hand‑offs.

Required profile

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing in the state of Arkansas.
• Healthcare CPR certification required.
• Willingness to obtain ACLS, PALS, or NALS certifications if assigned to areas that need them (training provided).
• Ability to work day shift from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm, totaling 48 hours bi‑weekly.
