Occupational Therapist Floater

About the role

The Occupational Therapist Floater provides independent, accountable OT services to a complex patient population within the Therapy Central Office. This position supports both professional development and departmental growth while delivering care appropriate to the ages of the patients served.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments, treatment plans, and interventions for a diverse patient group.
• Maintain flexibility in scheduling, working day shifts from 8 am to 5 pm with occasional adjustments.
• Demonstrate competence in all required facility competencies for a Staff Therapist II.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document all clinical activities accurately and comply with state licensing requirements.

Required profile

• Active Arkansas State Board license for occupational therapy.
• Minimum of one year professional experience or completion of all required facility competencies.
• CPR certification.
• OTR or registry‑eligible occupational therapist.
• BS or MS graduate of an AOTA‑accredited OT curriculum program.
• Masters degree in Speech‑Language Pathology and ASHA Clinical Competence Certificate (as listed).
