Pastry Kitchen – Chef De Partie

About the role

The Four Seasons resort in Kuwait City is seeking a motivated Chef De Partie for its pastry kitchen. You will join a five‑star luxury environment, contributing to menu creation and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in menu planning and development, guaranteeing consistent preparation and presentation of all pastry items.
• Control labour and operating expenses through effective organization, purchasing, and inventory control.
• Maintain compliance with sanitation standards and keep the kitchen area clean.
• Communicate with staff and management to meet operational needs and attend regular coordination meetings.
• Manage recipe costing, create pickup charts, and develop spreadsheets to improve efficiency.
• Conduct frequent quality checks to uphold food standards.
• Inspire and motivate the pastry team, lead team‑building activities and demonstrate techniques on the floor.
• Adapt to different shifts and areas within the pastry kitchen as business needs evolve.

Required profile

• Creativity, innovative ideas, strong cooking, organisational and people‑management abilities.
• Culinary diploma or degree preferred.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role within a five‑star luxury hotel.
