Patient Care Tech I – Night Shift (3rd Floor Rehab)

About the role

The Patient Care Tech I works on the 3rd Floor Rehab unit during the night shift (6:30 pm‑7:00 am). As the team member who spends the most time with patients, you will provide basic care, hygiene assistance, and monitoring while delivering compassionate, patient‑focused service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients and their families with daily care activities, hygiene, and basic monitoring.
• Ensure all aspects of patient care are completed accurately and timely.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other staff to support rehabilitation goals.
• Anticipate and respond proactively to patient needs throughout the night.

Required profile

• At least 12 college‑level credit hours, including a passing grade in English Composition (C or higher) and an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher (transcripts verified).
• Willingness to work flexible night hours and a total of 72 hours bi‑weekly.
• Compassionate attitude with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and apply new healthcare‑related skills quickly.
• Good organizational abilities and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• CPR certification (training provided if needed).
