Petrophysics Consultant – Program Design

About the role

Anton is seeking an experienced Consultant to lead program design and advanced petrophysical evaluation for its Kuwait operations. The role involves integrating multi‑disciplinary data, providing real‑time interpretation during drilling, and supporting reservoir management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead advanced formation evaluation using multi‑mineral modelling, saturation analysis, borehole imaging and integrated petrophysical workflows.
• Integrate core, well‑log, mud‑log, drilling and geochemical data for advanced reservoir characterization and real‑time interpretation during drilling.
• Develop water‑saturation models, capillary‑pressure models, net‑pay estimates and Mechanical Earth Models to support pore‑pressure prediction and fracture analysis.
• Provide geomechanical input for well placement, completion design and hydraulic‑fracturing optimization.
• Quantify petrophysical uncertainties, conduct sensitivity studies and Value‑of‑Information assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Petroleum Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 15‑20 years of upstream oil & gas petrophysics experience, including 5 years of active operations petrophysics on complex onshore/offshore, HPHT, deviated and horizontal wells.
• Extensive experience across carbonate, clastic, conventional and unconventional reservoirs.

Required skills

• Multi‑mineral modelling, saturation analysis, LWD and wireline interpretation.
• Mechanical Earth Modelling, pore‑pressure prediction, borehole image and fracture interpretation.
• SCAL, TOC, geochemical data integration, capillary‑pressure analysis.
• Digital workflows, advanced analytics and machine‑learning applications in petrophysics.
