QC Mechanical Engineer / Inspector

About the role

We are seeking a qualified QC Mechanical Engineer / Inspector to join our Power Plant project in Kuwait. The role involves ensuring that all mechanical works meet the required quality standards and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on piping, welding, and related mechanical activities.
• Review P&ID and isometric drawings for compliance.
• Prepare and manage hydro‑test packages and related documentation.
• Conduct line walk‑downs, generate punch‑list items and drive their clearance.
• Verify welding procedures (WPS) and qualification records (PQR) are correctly applied.
• Coordinate with construction and engineering teams to resolve non‑conformances.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in QC mechanical engineering, preferably on power‑plant or large‑scale industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of piping, welding standards and non‑destructive testing (NDE).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Detail‑oriented with good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
