Senior Public Relations Manager

About the role

Huawei Technologies is seeking a seasoned Senior Public Relations Manager to lead its PR, institutional relations, and stakeholder management activities in Kuwait. The role reports directly to the CEO and serves as the primary guardian of the company’s corporate reputation in a dynamic regional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and deepen strategic relationships with Kuwaiti public sector entities, regulatory authorities, and key industry stakeholders.
• Facilitate high‑level bilateral dialogues, executive protocols, and strategic roundtables between global leadership and senior local officials.
• Monitor telecommunications, AI, and cybersecurity policy trends, providing early‑warning intelligence on regulatory risks and opportunities.
• Develop and execute crisis‑response frameworks to mitigate reputation risks arising from regional developments.
• Lead the planning and execution of premium corporate events, technology launch galas, and exclusive VIP banquets, ensuring compliance with local protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Relations, International Relations, Political Science, Journalism or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of corporate communications, PR or public affairs experience, preferably in the tech, telecom, banking or energy sectors within Kuwait.
• Proven track record of managing complex public relations crises in the GCC region.
• Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English with excellent executive‑level writing and speaking abilities.
• Established, active professional network inside Kuwait’s business and public ecosystems.
