Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Warah is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join its technology team and play a key role in building, scaling, and improving the company’s HR management platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services.
• Build reliable APIs and integrations across HR, attendance, leave, payroll, and reporting products.
• Lead technical design and contribute to system architecture decisions.
• Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well‑documented code.
• Improve system performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
• Design and optimise databases, queries, and application architecture.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement long‑term solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and uphold strong engineering standards.
• Mentor developers and support the growth of the engineering team.

Required profile

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core.
• Proven experience designing and developing REST APIs and backend systems.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, database architecture, and performance optimisation.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
