Supply Chain Director

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Director to lead our Logistics & Warehouse and Procurement functions in Kuwait. The role oversees the complete flow of goods—from sourcing and supplier management to warehousing, inventory control, and distribution—while driving operational excellence, cost efficiency and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment and outbound distribution.
• Lead transportation planning, carrier and 3PL management, freight cost optimisation and delivery performance.
• Set inventory policies, balance service levels with carrying costs and minimise stockouts and excess stock.
• Drive safety, layout, process improvements and adoption of WMS/TMS and automation.
• Track and report logistics and warehouse KPIs such as on‑time delivery, order accuracy and warehouse utilisation.
• Develop and execute sourcing and procurement strategy for direct and indirect spend.
• Negotiate contracts, manage key supplier relationships and monitor vendor performance through scorecards and QBRs.
• Manage procurement risk via supplier diversification and market monitoring.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and total‑cost‑of‑ownership improvements.
• Set overall strategy for both functions, mentor managers, manage combined budget and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Operations and Product teams and report performance to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum 120 months (10 years) of experience in supply chain, logistics or procurement.
• Proven senior leadership experience managing logistics/warehouse and procurement teams.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
