Tax Compliance Advisor – International Law Firm (Kuwait)

About the role

Our client, a top‑tier law firm in Kuwait, is expanding its Tax Practice and seeks a technically gifted Tax Compliance Advisor. The role is based in Kuwait and serves multinational corporations, sovereign wealth funds and private equity clients on complex cross‑border transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee multi‑jurisdictional tax compliance and filing requirements.
• Design tax‑efficient structures for M&A, restructurings and cross‑border investments.
• Provide technical support for tax litigation and disputes (court attendance not required).
• Act as subject‑matter expert on Pillar 2 (GloBE) implementation and international double tax treaties.

Required profile

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification.
• Proven experience in corporate/international tax or tax advisory within a reputable law firm or Big 4.
• Strong knowledge of Pillar 2 (GloBE) rules – highly desirable.
• High proficiency in interpreting and applying double tax treaties.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus but not required.
