Transportation Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Supervisor to manage daily transport operations between our Distribution Center (DC) and assigned dark‑store locations across Kuwait. The role ensures timely, safe, and efficient movement of goods, optimising routes, fleet utilisation and driver performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and optimise transport routes, delivery schedules and truck allocation based on store demand and business priorities.
• Monitor the truck fleet for availability, utilisation, maintenance coordination and overall efficiency.
• Supervise drivers and transport teams, enforcing safety standards, delivery schedules and service quality.
• Track real‑time deliveries, identify delays or exceptions and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with DC, dark‑store, warehouse and operations teams to ensure accurate loading, dispatch and replenishment.
• Analyse transportation data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, route optimisation and process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, fleet safety standards and local regulations.
• Oversee driver training and development, and prepare regular performance reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field, or 3+ years relevant experience.
• Proven experience in delivery, transport, logistics or fleet management, preferably in a fast‑paced e‑commerce environment.
• Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with the capacity to interpret operational data.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage projects and drive process improvements.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to be based in Kuwait and work flexible hours as required.
