Alternate Site Manager – Transient Aircraft Services (Secret Clearance)

About the role

The Alternate Site Manager (ASM) supports day‑to‑day management of Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) at a Southwest Asia installation. Reporting to the Site Manager, the ASM ensures safe, efficient aircraft arrival, servicing, and departure in a 24/7 austere environment while maintaining full compliance with contractual and Air Force directives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a ZERO Harm workplace by enforcing flight line safety standards, FOD prevention programs, and tool control procedures.
• Assist in daily oversight of TAS operations, including aircraft arrival, marshaling, parking, servicing, turn‑around, and departure to meet Performance Work Statement objectives.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor assigned personnel during shifts, reinforcing operational discipline and safety.
• Serve as acting Site Manager in the Site Manager’s absence, retaining full authority over daily operations and decision‑making.
• Coordinate daily tasking, assign work, monitor execution, and resolve operational challenges affecting aircraft flow.
• Inspect and audit work to verify compliance with Technical Orders, airfield procedures, and PWS requirements, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Required profile

• U.S. National with an active Secret Security Clearance.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance, or Transient Aircraft Services.
• Demonstrated experience in flight line operations and aircraft servicing.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft ground handling, airfield safety requirements, and applicable Technical Orders.
