Analyzer Engineer

About the role

The Analyzer Engineer will lead the maintenance and calibration of online analyzers, gas chromatographs, and laboratory instrumentation for Anton Oilfield Services Group in Kuwait. This senior position requires strong technical leadership to ensure reliable operation of critical process equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and lead technicians responsible for online analyzers, gas chromatographs, and lab instruments.
• Plan and execute preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Review work orders, maintenance schedules, and spare‑part requirements using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Perform and oversee analyzer calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, calibration gases, and consumables for maintenance operations.
• Maintain equipment history, calibration records, and maintenance documentation.
• Conduct final inspections, testing, and operational adjustments after maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, permit‑to‑work procedures, and best‑practice maintenance processes.
• Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience maintaining and calibrating online analyzers, gas chromatographs, and laboratory instrumentation, with at least 4 years in oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar process industries.
• Proven experience using CMMS for work‑order and asset management.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good understanding of industrial safety standards and permit‑to‑work procedures.
