Assistant Professor – Finance (Full‑time)

About the role

The university is seeking a full‑time Assistant Professor to join its Finance Department starting Fall 2026. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and curriculum development in a diverse, international campus environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses such as Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Investment Management, Financial Modeling, Islamic Finance, and FinTech.
• Participate in departmental committees, curriculum design, program development, and student mentorship.
• Maintain an active research agenda with publications in high‑impact, Scopus‑indexed journals.
• Engage with community outreach and professional development activities.
• Adhere to academic deadlines, grading policies, and office‑hour requirements.

Required profile

• PhD in Finance or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at a reputable university.
• Consistent record of scholarly publications in reputable, high‑impact journals.
• Experience in curriculum design, program development, and community engagement.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of core finance subjects and emerging areas such as Islamic Finance and FinTech.
• Ability to employ innovative, immersive pedagogical approaches.
• Proficiency in academic research methods and scholarly writing.
