Assistant Warehouse Keeper

About the role

We are seeking an organized Assistant Warehouse Keeper to manage raw material and waste flows within our warehouse network. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring safety and efficiency in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Control raw material transactions between the buffer zone and satellite warehouse.
• Prepare daily waste reports and ensure the bailer area is cleared and organized.
• Coordinate with the Accounts department and Assistant Planner to update waste stock inventory.
• Load waste for customers, prepare loading manifests, print pick slips and issue invoices.
• Follow up with Accounts for statements of account for waste buyers and generate monthly inventory reports, highlighting discrepancies.
• Check raw material stock in the buffer zone and estimate shortages against daily planning.
• Supervise truck loading and unloading, ensuring material is preserved in good condition.
• Implement safety and security measures in the warehouse and verify material transactions in the system against physical counts.
• Ensure waste loading bundles are properly secured before dispatch.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all material movements.

Required profile

• High School diploma.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in warehouse operations or a related field.
