About the role
The Assistant Warehouse Keeper supports the efficient flow of raw materials and waste within the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory control, safe handling, and organized operations.
Key responsibilities
- Control raw material transactions between buffer zone and satellite warehouse.
- Prepare daily waste reports and ensure the bailer area is cleared and organized.
- Coordinate with the Accounts department and Assistant Planner to update waste stock inventory.
- Load waste for customers, prepare loading manifests, print pick slips and issue invoices.
- Follow up with Accounts for statements of account for waste buyers and generate monthly inventory reports highlighting discrepancies.
- Check raw material stock in the buffer zone and estimate shortages versus daily planning.
- Supervise truck loading and unloading, ensuring materials are preserved in good condition.
- Implement safety and security measures and verify material transactions in the system against physical counts.
Required profile
- High School degree.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in warehouse operations or a related field.
