Building Inspector – Site Supervision (Kuwait)

About the role

Egis is seeking a detail‑oriented Building Inspector to lead site supervision for construction projects in Kuwait. You will ensure that all works comply with local and international building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to verify compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Supervise construction activities, monitor work quality, and enforce safety standards.
• Review technical drawings and specifications for accuracy.
• Identify and report code violations, safety hazards, and structural deficiencies.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve issues and keep projects on schedule.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of site visits.
• Stay updated on changes to building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to improve construction processes and maintain quality standards.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate findings to all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil or Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in building inspection or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in site supervision and project management.
• In‑depth knowledge of local and international building codes and standards.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant certification in building inspection or related area.
