Chef de Partie - Steak House Specialty

About the role

The Steak House Specialty team at Marriott International is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to deliver high‑quality steak and grill dishes. Working in a fast‑paced kitchen environment, you will ensure consistency, safety and presentation standards for every plate served to our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
• Regulate and monitor temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters.
• Thaw and manage inventory, pull items from freezer to refrigerator and report excess stock for daily specials.
• Maintain food logs, portion control, garnish, and ensure proper food safety documentation.
• Communicate with service staff about menu specials, out‑of‑stock items and guest needs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling and performance coaching.
• Follow all company safety, security and uniform policies.

Required profile

• Technical or vocational culinary education.
• Minimum three years of relevant kitchen experience, preferably in a steak house or grill‑focused environment.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift up to 25 lb throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety.
