Consultant Geoscientist

About the role

The Consultant Geoscientist will be responsible for 3D geological and static reservoir modeling, developing multiple geological model realizations, and identifying hydrocarbon opportunities in mature reservoirs. The role also provides technical geoscience input for field‑development planning and reservoir‑management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform 3D geological and static reservoir modeling by integrating geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and well data.
• Develop and evaluate multiple geological model realizations to capture and quantify key subsurface uncertainties.
• Identify and mature remaining and bypassed hydrocarbon opportunities in mature reservoirs through integrated reservoir characterization and model‑based evaluation.
• Perform well placement and optimization for appraisal, infill, step‑out, producer, and injector wells.
• Integrate reservoir quality, fluid distribution, connectivity, and geological uncertainty into well‑placement and field‑development decisions.
• Apply advanced reservoir characterization, geological modeling technologies, and workflows to improve subsurface understanding.
• Provide technical geoscience input to field‑development planning and reservoir‑management decisions.
