Demi Chef de Partie – Lebanese Cuisine

About the role

The Four Seasons Kuwait is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie to prepare authentic Lebanese dishes in a luxury hotel environment. You will work closely with the culinary team to deliver high‑quality, consistent meals that reflect the brand’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present authentic Lebanese dishes with precision, ensuring flavor, texture, and presentation meet Four Seasons quality standards.
• Assist in menu planning and recipe development, blending traditional Lebanese flavors with innovative presentation techniques.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety, and sanitation in compliance with HACCP and hotel standards.
• Control food costs, manage inventory, and reduce waste through organized purchasing and portion control.
• Supervise and train Commis and junior team members, providing guidance and motivation.
• Conduct regular quality and taste checks to preserve authenticity and excellence.
• Collaborate with culinary and service teams for seamless operations and timely service.

Required profile

• Proven expertise and passion for Lebanese cuisine with deep knowledge of traditional dishes, ingredients, and cooking methods.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine‑dining restaurant specializing in Middle Eastern or Lebanese cuisine.
• Culinary diploma or degree preferred.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Expertise in Lebanese culinary techniques and traditional recipes.
• Knowledge of HACCP food safety standards.
