Doorperson – Hotel Front Entrance Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a courteous and proactive Doorperson to be the welcoming face of our hotel. You will manage the main entrance, assist guests with luggage and transportation, and ensure a smooth flow of arrivals and departures.

Key responsibilities

• Greet all guests, visitors, and VIPs warmly and professionally.
• Open doors, handle luggage, and escort guests to the reception or appropriate areas.
• Coordinate with Bellmen and the Front Office to manage guest arrivals and departures efficiently.
• Arrange taxis, transportation, and direct traffic in front of the hotel.
• Provide accurate information on hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the entrance, driveway, and lobby.
• Monitor security protocols and uphold the hotel’s image at all times.
• Handle packages, deliveries, and special guest arrangements.
• Support Front Office and Concierge teams during busy periods.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of hotel events, VIP arrivals, and guest preferences.

Required profile

• Attentive, courteous, and able to anticipate guest needs.
• Physically able to lift heavy luggage, coats, and packages.
• Well‑groomed appearance with a neat uniform and polished shoes.
• Good memory of hotel layout, lift operations, and emergency routes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Bellmen, Front Office, and Concierge staff.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, "can‑do" attitude.
