About the role

The Education Team Leader is responsible for overseeing education projects, translating budget plans into actionable activities, and ensuring that implementation stays aligned with strategic priorities. This role coordinates multiple teams, monitors progress, and resolves operational obstacles to achieve program objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the annual, time‑bound operational plan for education programs as part of budget preparation.
• Translate budget components into implementable activities and projects, tracking them throughout the year.
• Support sequencing of activities to meet education program objectives and align with approved priorities.
• Monitor implementation against timelines, preparing periodic progress reports and executive summaries for management.
• Identify, document, and resolve operational obstacles early, analysing root causes of delays.
• Strengthen coordination among teams, integrating programs to maximise resource efficiency.
• Allocate tasks to relevant teams, define responsibilities, and measure workload distribution.
• Develop tools and templates for tracking plan implementation and improve monitoring methodologies.
• Prepare reports linking workload, delays, and staff performance indicators.
• Support building an indicator‑based approach to implementation monitoring.
