Electrical Engineer (Secret Clearance) – ASAB ESS

About the role

KBR Government Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer with Secret clearance to support the Ali Al Salem Air Base (ASAB) Engineering Support Services (ESS). The role provides technical and engineering expertise to ensure mission‑critical electrical systems are designed, maintained, and compliant with all applicable standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, repair, and maintain War Reserve Material (WRM) electrical assets and update record drawings.
• Provide effective electrical engineering support to meet mission requirements under guidance from the 378 Engineering Flight Chief.
• Develop and administer Activity/Asset Management Plans (AMP) that align Air Force and installation objectives with asset performance and lifecycle considerations.
• Be available within two hours of notification to meet on‑site with Government personnel.
• Prepare design packages and scopes of work for various projects on the PSAB, and brief the 378 Engineering Flight Chief before solicitation.
• Ensure compliance with US laws, Kuwait Labor Law, US EPA guidelines, DoD Unified Facilities Criteria, NEC, NESC, OSHA, NFPA, IEEE, ASHRAE, and other relevant codes.

Required profile

• U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Electrical engineering background with experience in military or government installations.
• Ability to respond rapidly to on‑site requirements and work under tight timelines.
• Familiarity with asset management and lifecycle planning for electrical systems.
