EMT Paramedic – Advanced Life Support in Kuwait

About the role

The EMT Paramedic provides Advanced Life Support (ALS), emergency medical response, patient assessment, stabilization, treatment and medical transport for the Udari Range Complex and surrounding sites in Kuwait. The role operates 24/7 in a remote, austere environment supporting U.S. military personnel, contractors, civilians and authorized staff under DoD and V2X requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver ALS emergency medical response, trauma care, airway management, cardiac care and medication administration to authorized personnel at Camp Buehring, K‑Crossing and Udari Range Complex.
• Operate ambulances and emergency response equipment safely, coordinate patient transfers, and support MEDEVAC operations.
• Maintain readiness of medical vehicles, equipment, supplies and medications; document all patient care activities in accordance with EMS standards.
• Participate in mass‑casualty planning, emergency preparedness drills and contingency medical operations.
• Collaborate with nurses, firefighters, external agencies and medical leadership during emergencies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Paramedic program.
• Minimum two years recent experience as a Paramedic, preferably in emergency response, trauma care or critical‑care transport.
• Current NREMT Paramedic certification, unrestricted state or national Paramedic license, BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS, PHTLS/ITLS preferred.
• Ability to meet all medical, security, credentialing and deployment requirements for overseas contingency operations.
