EMT Paramedic – Advanced Life Support (Kuwait)

About the role

The EMT Paramedic provides Advanced Life Support (ALS), emergency medical response, patient assessment, stabilization, treatment and transport for personnel operating in the Udari Range Complex and surrounding areas in Kuwait. Working in a remote, austere environment, the incumbent supports 24/7 medical readiness for U.S. military, contractors and civilian staff.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver ALS emergency medical response, assessment, stabilization, treatment and transport for authorized personnel across Camp Buehring, K‑Crossing and Udari Range Complex.
• Operate ambulances and emergency response equipment safely, providing trauma care, airway management, cardiac care and medication administration.
• Coordinate patient transfers, support MEDEVAC operations and maintain after‑hours emergency response capability.
• Document patient care activities and operational reports in compliance with EMS and DoD standards.
• Maintain medical equipment, supplies and vehicle readiness, and participate in mass‑casualty planning and emergency preparedness exercises.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Paramedic program.
• Minimum two years recent experience as a Paramedic, preferably in emergency response, trauma care or critical care transport.
• Current NREMT Paramedic certification, unrestricted state/national license, BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS and PHTLS/ITLS preferred.
• Ability to work in remote, austere conditions, lift up to 50 lb, and meet all medical, security and credentialing requirements.
