Engineering Technician – Secret Clearance (GIS/Survey)

About the role

KBR is seeking an Engineering Technician to support installation engineering, surveying, drafting, and geospatial data development for the ASAB Engineering Support Services program at Prince Sultan Air Base. The role ensures that facilities and infrastructure data remain accurate, compliant, and mission‑ready while supporting Air Force operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform field surveys, including topographic, boundary, and utility surveys.
• Develop and maintain technical drawings, maps, and geospatial datasets using AutoCAD and GIS software.
• Support construction inspections, documentation, and quality‑assurance activities.
• Maintain as‑built drawings, facility records, and infrastructure documentation.
• Update GeoBase, CIP, MDS, and MDL in compliance with SDSFIE and Air Force standards.
• Assist with airfield obstruction data updates and waiver documentation.
• Coordinate site preparation, permits, and utility outage documentation.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with a valid driver’s license and passport (book, ≥13 months validity, 6 blank visa pages).
• Minimum three years combined experience in surveying, drafting, construction management, and project management.
• At least one year recent experience with AutoCAD and GIS software.
• Two years experience working with public or government organizations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
• Willingness to sign a Non‑Disclosure Agreement.
