Field Service Representative (Southwest Asia)

About the role

The Field Service Representative will support mission‑critical C5ISR programs across Southwest Asia, installing, sustaining, and training users on tactical electronics such as Boomerang gunfire detection and related sensor suites. The role demands extensive travel, extended work weeks, and strict compliance with security and export regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test Boomerang gunfire detection systems on platforms like Humvees, Strykers, and MRAPs.
• Integrate and sustain EUGS and battlefield sensor suites, including firmware updates and system hardening.
• Perform preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, diagnostics, and board‑level component replacement.
• Train military personnel on operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct site surveys, manage logistics, and maintain equipment accountability using COLTS/RCLS and GCSS‑Army.
• Ensure compliance with ITAR/EXIM regulations and contract‑specified PPE.
• Provide sustainment support across AFRICOM and CENTCOM AORs, often in austere, expeditionary environments.

Required profile

• Active U.S. Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• 5+ years of related field service experience with tactical electronics.
• Willingness to work up to 84 hours per week and travel extensively.
• Ability to operate in harsh climates and comply with COMSEC handling policies.

Required skills

• System installation and integration of C5ISR equipment.
• Field wiring, cabling, and platform‑specific mounting.
• Firmware updates and system hardening.
• Diagnostics, fault isolation, and board‑level repairs.
• COMSEC handling and ITAR/EXIM compliance.
• Use of COLTS, RCLS, and GCSS‑Army logistics tools.
• Generator maintenance (oil/filter changes) and power/grounding checks.
