Firefighter – Emergency Response Specialist

About the role

The Firefighter will support V2X operations at the WEXMAC site in Kuwait, responding to a variety of emergencies and ensuring fire safety compliance. The role requires maintaining equipment, conducting inspections, and participating in regular training.

Key responsibilities

• Operate pumps, foam generators, turrets, nozzles and digital fire alarm systems while adhering to NFPA standards.
• Conduct fire inspections, pre‑incident planning, and maintain documentation for safety and quality assurance.
• Maintain and clean personal protective equipment and ensure all emergency gear is ready for use.
• Participate in team‑based fire suppression, rescue, hazardous‑materials response, and medical emergency operations.

Required profile

• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a firefighter, preferably on a DoD installation.
• Valid home‑country driver’s license and passport with at least two years validity.
• Ability to pass annual firefighter health exams, SCBA fit testing (NFPA 1582/1583) and be available for recall.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SCBA, NFPA fire‑service standards, and fire‑alarm communication equipment.
• First Aid Provider (FAP) and CPR certification.
• Competent use of MS‑Word, MS‑Excel, and MS‑Outlook for reporting and documentation.
