Food Services Supervisor (Rations)

About the role

The Food Services Supervisor (Rations) is based in Kuwait and supports the WEXMAC program. Reporting to the Food Service Supervisor (PIC) and DFAC Manager, you will oversee warehouse operations, ensuring that all rations are received, stored, and prepared for daily meal service in line with scheduled menus.

Key responsibilities

• Direct, manage and supervise warehouse staff, maintaining health, safety and security standards.
• Organize warehouse layout for optimal space utilization and ensure efficient stock pull for upcoming meals.
• Quality‑check all deliveries, record transactions in the AFMIS system, and flag discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor inventory dates, conduct regular stock counts, and manage returns and damaged goods according to company policies.
• Prepare and submit daily, monthly and quarterly reports on warehouse activities and inventory status.
• Coordinate with customers, contractors and other personnel to resolve operational issues.

Required profile

• Associate degree or equivalent trade school education; relevant experience may substitute for education.
• Experience in food service, warehouse logistics or inventory control, preferably in a military or large‑scale catering environment.
• Proven ability to supervise, motivate and develop a team.
• Knowledge of health, safety and security regulations for food storage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS).
• Experience using the AFMIS inventory management system.
• Strong inventory control and quality‑assurance practices.
• Effective space‑management and warehouse layout planning.
