Government Relations Specialist

About the role

Join a fast‑growing e‑commerce beauty brand as a Government Relations Specialist. You will act as the primary liaison between the company and a wide range of government authorities, ensuring seamless compliance across immigration, licensing, and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with ministries, immigration, labor, municipality, customs, civil defense, embassies and other authorities.
• Monitor regulatory changes, inform internal teams and coordinate resolutions for operational issues.
• Manage employee visas, residency permits, work permits, Civil IDs and related onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Coordinate renewal and maintenance of commercial, industrial, and civil defense licenses, vehicle registrations, trademarks and other statutory documents.
• Execute government transactions with labor, municipality, customs, health and traffic authorities, and oversee document attestation.
• Prepare reports on government transactions, licensing, and compliance activities; track renewal deadlines.
• Support audits, inspections and regulatory reviews by providing required documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in government relations, PRO, immigration services or regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to handle visas, permits, licenses and statutory documentation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of immigration and residency procedures in the GCC.
• Familiarity with licensing and regulatory processes for commercial and industrial entities.
• Ability to maintain confidential government records.
