Head of Operations Department

About the role

The Head of Operations Department will lead logistics, warehouse and delivery functions for Al Mulla Electronics, ensuring seamless supply‑chain flow and high‑quality customer fulfillment. This senior position combines strategic planning with hands‑on management of inventory, order processing and distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business growth and market demand.
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, manage supplier contracts and coordinate imports and distribution.
• Lead warehouse operations, drive automation, and ensure safety and space‑utilisation standards.
• Implement Lean methodologies to improve processes, reduce costs and meet KPIs.
• Supervise delivery teams, optimise routing, fleet management and fulfilment schedules.
• Handle customer escalations, resolve order‑related issues and improve service quality.
• Mentor and develop logistics, distribution and installation teams.

Required profile

• BSc in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in operations, logistics or supply‑chain management.
• Background in retail, consumer electronics or FMCG with strong warehousing and delivery focus.
• Proven track record of managing large‑scale warehouse and logistics operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using WHM (Warehouse Management) systems.
• Lean Six Sigma or other Lean methodology expertise.
• Advanced inventory management and forecasting capabilities.
