HR Manager

About the role

The HR Manager will lead the Human Resources department, overseeing manpower planning, performance management, compensation & benefits, training & development, payroll, and providing strategic guidance to achieve departmental objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategic HR objectives and KPIs aligned with division goals, monitor results and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and manage the HR department’s annual budget, track financial performance and address variances.
• Design, implement and enforce HR policies and procedures.
• Lead recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interviewing, job offers, contracts and orientation.
• Conduct exit interviews to analyse turnover reasons.
• Develop and manage performance management systems linked to bonuses and promotions.
• Oversee annual performance appraisals and provide reports to top management.
• Plan and deliver training & development programmes, conduct needs analysis and evaluate outcomes.
• Manage HR transactional services such as salaries, leaves, disciplinary actions, promotions, benefits, end‑of‑service and contract renewals in compliance with labour law.
• Supervise payroll operations in coordination with Finance to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain employee records and databases for quick information retrieval.
• Provide continuous improvement recommendations based on international best practices and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree or HR certifications (SPHR, HRMP, CHRP) preferred.
• 10–12 years of progressive HR experience.
• Strong strategic thinking, decision‑making, problem‑solving and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to manage people, organize and plan, and achieve results.
