HR Officer

About the role

Egis, a global engineering and consulting firm, is looking for a professional and organized HR Officer to join its Kuwait City office. The role supports the HR department in employee relations, recruitment, payroll, and compliance with Kuwaiti labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist throughout the recruitment lifecycle, including candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.
• Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Kuwait labour laws.
• Administer payroll, benefits programmes, and employee compensation in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Support performance‑management activities such as reviews, feedback sessions, and development initiatives.
• Handle employee‑relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure organisational compliance with local employment regulations and stay current on legal changes.
• Coordinate training and development programmes to enhance employee skills.
• Prepare HR reports and analytics to aid management decision‑making.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Provide administrative support and serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of Kuwait labour laws and local employment regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple HR processes efficiently.
