HSE Manager – Kuwait

About the role

Anton Oilfield Services Group is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environment initiatives for its Kuwait project. You will be responsible for implementing robust HSE systems, ensuring compliance with international standards, and fostering a safe workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the overall HSE program, including the HSE management system and electronic Permit to Work (PTW) process.
• Develop, implement and maintain HSE policies, procedures and plans in line with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Coordinate HSE audits, management reviews and corrective actions.
• Conduct site inspections, hazard identification, behavior‑based safety observations and risk assessments for high‑risk operations.
• Lead investigations of accidents, incidents and near‑misses and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor, analyse and report HSE KPIs via regular dashboards.
• Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks and specialised safety training, maintaining accurate training records.
• Oversee environmental compliance, waste management, emissions control and heat‑stress prevention programmes.
• Lead emergency response activities, including drills and personnel training on emergency procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Engineering.
• At least one internationally recognised HSE qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, CSP, Grad IOSH, etc.).
• Minimum 15 years of HSE experience, with at least 5 years in oil & gas, petrochemical or related industry.
