Junior Accountant

About the role

German Standard Group is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to join its team in Kuwait. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting transactions and supporting the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day‑to‑day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and record journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly and year‑end closing activities.
• Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding accounting and payment matters.
• Support external and internal audit requirements when needed.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and meet deadlines.
