Junior Social Media Manager – EU Outreach Project

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Junior Social Media Manager to support the Communication outreach and engagement project on EU policies across North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf. The role will provide strategic and operational digital communication support to DG MENA, helping to raise the visibility and impact of EU initiatives in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and update institutional social media accounts on multiple platforms.
• Create, schedule and publish engaging content that aligns with the project’s communication strategy.
• Support the rollout of digital communication campaigns and online engagement activities.
• Monitor social media performance, generate analytics reports and suggest improvements.
• Engage with online communities and assist audience outreach initiatives.
• Coordinate with communication teams, graphic designers and audio‑visual specialists to produce high‑quality digital assets.
• Track social media trends and identify opportunities to boost audience engagement.
• Ensure all content complies with EU branding and editorial guidelines.

Required profile

• Degree (or equivalent) in communication, digital media or a related field.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or Arabic is an asset.
• At least 2 years of general experience in digital communication.
• Minimum 1 year of specific experience managing institutional social media accounts.
