Land Surveyor for Major Port Project

About the role

Egis is looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to support a large‑scale port development in Kuwait. You will be a key member of the construction management and supervision team, ensuring accurate land measurements and topographic data throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct precise land surveys and topographic mapping of the port site.
• Operate advanced surveying equipment, GPS, and GIS systems to collect and analyse field data.
• Prepare detailed survey reports, maps and plans using AutoCAD and related software.
• Collaborate with construction managers and engineers to verify that project specifications are met.
• Supervise and coordinate on‑site survey crews, monitoring progress and ensuring compliance with survey data.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies related to land surveying and maintain accurate records of all activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of land surveying experience, preferably on port or marine projects.
• Proven experience in construction management and supervision.
• Strong mathematical, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and lead survey crews.

Required skills

• Proficiency with modern surveying equipment and techniques.
• Expert knowledge of GPS and GIS systems.
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD and other surveying software.
